Fabrication margins are made on the shop floor and lost in the paperwork.

Steel fabrication runs on documents: tender packs, drawing revisions, cut lists, material certificates, weld procedures, inspection records and delivery notes. When those live in email threads, spreadsheets and ring binders, the wrong revision gets cut, material goes missing and traceability takes days to pull together.

We build systems for structural steel and general metal fabricators that keep every document attached to the job, show material needs against stock, put current drawings in front of the shop, and produce the traceability your customers and certification bodies ask for, without a late night in the office.

Questions, answered

What software do steel fabricators use?

Fabricators typically use detailing software (such as Tekla or Advance Steel), an estimating or management system, an accounting package, and a lot of spreadsheets in between. Bespoke software can join these together and replace the spreadsheets, or extend an existing fabrication management system where it falls short.

Can you help with CE and UKCA marking traceability?

We can build the records and reports that support factory production control and traceability under BS EN 1090: material certificates and heat numbers, weld procedures and welder qualifications, inspection records and declarations. Compliance remains your process; the software makes the evidence easy to produce.

Will it work with Tekla or our existing fabrication software?

Usually. We can import drawing lists, assemblies and cut lists from common exports and connect to existing systems through their APIs. We extend what works rather than ripping it out.

How do we stop the wrong drawing revision reaching the shop?

With a single drawing register per job that controls revisions and shows only the current approved issue on shop-floor screens. Superseded drawings are kept for history but cannot be opened at the bench.

Can we track offcuts and remnants?

Yes. Offcuts can be recorded with section, grade, length and heat number, and offered automatically before new material is ordered.

What's slowing you down?

A free, no-obligation conversation with Evgeny, the person who would build it. Over coffee in Shrewsbury, on your shop floor or on a call. You will leave with at least one idea you can use, whether or not we work together.
